2016 Season:

 2015 Team Schedule and Standings


East Meadow Baseball is for players from 7 to 12 years of age.  

For players born on or before August 31, 2005: The new age determination date of August 31 will be effective starting with the 2018 Little League Baseball Season. For the 2016 and 2017 seasons, these players will use the April 30 age determination date.

For players born on or after September 1, 2005: The new age determination date will be effective immediately, starting with the 2016 season. This was the implementation used for the 2015 season, with players turning 4 to 9 years old during the 2015 calendar year to use the December 31 age determination date.That implementation remains in place, except instead of using December 31, you will use August 31.

What this means to our Divisions and the players beginning with the 2016 season:

Kickball - September 2011 to August 2013

T-Ball - September 2009 to August 2011

Rookie 7 - September 2008 to August 2009

Rookie 8 - September 2007 to August 2008

Farms - September 2006 to August 2007

Minors - May 2004 to August 2006 

Majors - May 2003 to April 2004


Baseball consists of East Meadow intramural seasons, described below, and travel programs starting at age 8.


The season typically starts in late March and runs through June.


Games played during the week may start at between 5:30 PM and 6PM.

Games played on weekends will be scheduled at times ranging from 9AM to 6PM.

Players should arrive 30-45 minutes prior to game time.

Game length is typically 1 and 1/2 hours and can go no longer than 2 hours and 15 minutes, and consist of 6 innings.


Will be determined by the Manager.


EMBSA provides a shirt, pants, socks and hat.

Playing Equipment:

Parents must provide helmet, glove, bat, rubber cleats, and athletic support cup.

Catcher's gear will be supplied by EMBSA.


Team coaching staffs consist of a volunteer manager, two to three volunteer coaches, and a volunteer team parent.

Anyone expressing interest in managing or coaching should contact the Player Agents. All volunteers must complete and submit a volunteer form resulting in an approved background check.
